Resort Closing One Month from TODAY!
Believe it or not, Fall is coming fast. Moon Lake Resort will close for the 2019 season on Monday September 9th.
If you are ready for a visit, don’t wait, the calendar is ticking.

SUMMER'S HERE!
Well, let's clarify that. Friday, June 21st was the official First Day of Summer, 2019.
But it seems as though the mountains didn't get the memo, so a little snow and Wintry temperatures snuck in while the door was open to the Season change. Thankfully, once Spring realized it was heading in the wrong direction, it course corrected back toward Summer with a week plus of sunny 70 degree weather forecast from here and beyond. FINALLY!
So, now we're on track for SUMMER FUN with warmer temps, a full lake, good fishing and blue skies ahead.
Hope to see you soon!

Don't Be Confused!
Moon Lake Resort OPEN daily June 1st thru September 8th
People often confuse the North slope (Mirror Lake) Uinta Mountains weather and forecast with that of our conditions here at Moon Lake on the South Slope. Don’t let your friends or the News convince you that you won’t be able to get here. All of the NEW SNOW that fell last week has MELTED. Only a few patches of old winter snow remain in heavily shaded areas. Warmer temperatures are in the forecast. Guests, however, should prepare for cooler, wetter weather than has been the case in recent history.
The Campground is OPEN but Tenters may face more challenges as the ground is wet and muddy in many places.
If interested, Rustic Cabins with heat, electricity, sinks, fridges and stoves may be available as an alternative to camping at rates ranging $65 - $85 per night. Full Facility Cabins which also include hot water and private bathrooms range from $89-$175 per night.
Check our availability calendar to see if there is something open during your expected visit or just give us a call. https://v2.reservationkey.com/23448/reserve/c

THERE WILL BE NO BEER, HERE, FOR SALE, THIS YEAR.
Moon Lake Resort is No longer licensed to sell Beer to the public.
The Utah “Off-premise Beer Retailer Act” which was signed into law July 1, 2018 requires increased fees, State sponsored staff training and display requirements that are just not practical or economically feasible for our little store.
We have never made a profit selling beer, but have continued to carry it as a convenience for our guests.
Unfortunately now, the dollars no longer make sense for the small volume we sell.
We regret the inconvenience this will, undoubtedly, create for some of our guests and visitors to the area.
So... if you'd still like to enjoy a cold one at Moon Lake...
REMEMBER TO PACK IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME.

The Hummingbirds are already here. You can be, too!
Hi, Folks--There is currently full clear access to the Resort and
campgrounds with NO SNOW in the road. The only snow remaining on the
ground is in patches under shading trees. So...there is nothing
stopping anyone from coming to our little slice of mountain heaven. The
hummingbirds are already here. You can be, too. We open Memorial Day
Weekend--May 24-27. See you soon. The Moon Lake Crew
