Hi Folks,
It’s time to start wrapping up the 2017 Season.  Where does the time GO?!?!?!
We want to thank everyone who visited in 2017. We sincerely hope you enjoyed your visits.
All in all, it was a good season for us, thanks to our wonderful guests and spectacular crew.
As always, when one season ends, it is time to start thinking about the next. 
So, if you are already looking forward to sitting around the campfire in 2018--here is the scoop:
Projected Calendar 
*Traditional Season Opening – Memorial Day Weekend–Friday, May 25th 2018
*Out of an abundance of caution, we will DELAY confirming Reservations
for the first 2 weeks of the season--May 25-June 6--until we are sure that scheduled Forest Service
water line improvements will be complete and that there will be no interruption of water for our guests
(unfortunately, as was the case in 2017).
Official confirmed bookings CAN be made for June 7 and beyond on opening Reservation Day.

Season Closing – Monday, September 10th 2018 
Cabins will be available through Sunday, September 9th.
The Weekend of September 14 & 15 is available for a Private Party or Wedding
interested in booking the entire Resort.

More Details

1.    *In an effort to manage the volume of calls and minimize frustration for all – 
we will limit calls on the first day (October 2nd) to include 
GROUPS of 3 or more Cabins   OR   extended stays of 7 or more nights. 
 On October 3rd -- calls for any size reservation will be accepted.

2.    After an initial 2 week period of accepting reservations we will temporarily  
close the booking office (starting October 16) until after the Holidays 
and resume accepting reservations in January of 2018.
   (*Exact reopening date to be determined).

1) GET A JUMP START - Send a reservation REQUEST via our website online "Webervations" system
starting Monday, SEPTEMBER 24th. This is very helpful in expediting the booking process for most guests. 
Julie will try to review these REQUESTS in advance and let you know of any POLICY Issues 
that would cause rejection of your reservation.
This will give you a chance to come up with alternatives before the OCTOBER 2nd & October 3rd 
reservation opening dates*.

*REMEMBER! This Online REQUEST IS NOT a Confirmed Reservation!!!!!!  
This is ONLY A REQUEST! and is not a confirmed reservation until you have spoken to Julie or Emily
or receive an Email confirming your booking on or after October 2nd.

(These will be updated within the next week or two, minimal changes are expected).

3) Usually, Reservations that include both a Friday & Saturday will require a 3rd night
(Sunday or Thursday).
4) Once bookings have begun, Reservation requests that leave a single night opening between
already booked stays will likely not be accepted.

5) After making your request-check your email frequently! 
If possible, we will communicate this way first, instead of by phone.
6) On October 2nd & October 3rd, PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO "LIVE" PHONE CALLS but you can leave
a message if the line is busy. NOTE: the number to call is (970)731-9906.
We'll call back or email ASAP, but in some cases, that may not be until the next day.
Keep trying to get through if you're able.
Remember, it is always recommended to have a second choice of dates and cabins, if possible.
7) CREDIT CARD payment* for deposit is PREFERRED for all reservations EXCEPT larger groups.
(Hint--When making your reservation request-- please provide the credit card that you will want to use 
for your reservation deposit.  Changing the card number later is possible but complicated).
Be assured that your card will NOT be charged until you have given express permission for us to do so.  
*You MUST enter card information online to have this option.
CREDIT CARDS CANNOT BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE for reservations more than 30 days prior to arrival.

8) PET POLICY will be the same as in 2017.
Limit--2 dogs per Cabin--$10 per/pet per/stay.
