A Beautiful Morning Here!
The Dollar Ridge Fire is far from us and currently not threatening our area.
US 40 has been reopened as of 6:00 A.M. this morning per the UDOT Website.
However, it is still recommended to use the alternate routes.

It is business as usual here regarding fires and campfires.
Campfires are still permitted in the Cabin and Campground areas.
Fires are No longer permitted in the dispersed non fee areas.
There are NOW Road Closures that will affect your travel to the Moon Lake Recreation area.
As of July 4, US 40 has been closed in both directions West of the
Fruitland Store. Please use State Rd 35 (Wolf Creek Pass) if you are
coming from the West or Highway 191 (Indian Canyon) if you are coming

UPDATE: 2018 RESORT START UP AND OPERATING SEASON
HAPPY NEW YEAR and
Welcome 2018!
After a little Fall break,
WE are ready to start gearing up for our 23rd
season operating Moon Lake Resort.
Are YOU ready for another visit?
NOTE: We have recently been notified that the
Forest Service does not anticipate any disruption of
culinary water service to the Cabins and Campground during the 2018
Recreation Season. The Agency expects to complete water system improvements in
the Fall with ongoing work not expected to affect the currently operating
system. In light of this news and other
factors--here's where we stand:
WE WILL OPEN -- MEMORIAL
DAY WEEKEND:
FRIDAY thru MONDAY --
May 25th thru May 28th
WE WILL BE TEMPORARILY
CLOSED the following weekdays:
TUESDAY, MAY 29th thru
THURSDAY, MAY 31st
to address Resort Maintenance.
WE WILL RE-OPEN FOR
THE WEEKEND:
June 1-2-3 (Friday –Saturday-Sunday)
WE WILL BE
TEMPORARILY CLOSED the following weekdays:
MONDAY, JUNE 4th thru WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6th
to address Resort Maintenance.
We will be in FULL OPERATION beginning THURSDAY, JUNE 7th
thru SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER
9th -- DAILY -- 8AM -- 8PM
(with doors closed 5:30pm -
6:30pm for our staff dinner hour)
The Resort will CLOSE
for the season on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th, 2018
