COMING SOON: RESERVATIONS OPENING FOR 2019 SEASON
Hi Folks,
It is only a few weeks until we wrap up the 2018 season. September 10th is our closing date this year.
Where does the time GO?!?!?!
As always, when one season ends, it is time to start thinking about the next.
As things stand now, Bill & Julie expect to be here running the show again in 2019,
so, if you are already looking forward to sitting around the campfire in 2019--here is the scoop:
Projected Calendar
Season Opening – Memorial Day Weekend - Friday, May 24th 2019
Again, out of an abundance of caution, we will DELAY confirming Reservations for the first two weeks of the season-
-May 24-June 6--until we are sure that any additional Forest Service water line improvements will be complete.
Official confirmed bookings CAN be made for June 7 and beyond on opening Reservation Day.
By January, we should know if we will open on Memorial Weekend as is tradition here.
Season Closing – Monday, September 9th 2019
Cabins will be available through Sunday, September 8th.
The Weekend of September 13 & 14 is available for a Private Party or Wedding
interested in booking the entire Resort.

This year we will start BOOKING EARLIER THAN USUAL. Reservations OPEN:
Friday, September 14 for GROUP BOOKINGS ONLY.

There are NO RATE or Policy Changes for 2019!
The same as last year--the following will apply:
1. In an effort to manage the volume of calls and minimize frustration for all –
we will limit calls on the first day (September 14) to include GROUPS of 3 or more Cabins.
*On September 15 -- calls for any size reservation will be accepted.
2. We will close the booking office starting October 1 until after the Holidays and
resume accepting reservations starting Monday, January 7, 2019.
TIPS
As always, Reservations will be handled on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis by phone at our
Winter number (970)731-9906.
1) GET A JUMP START - Send a reservation REQUEST via our website online "Webervations" system
starting Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 11th. This is very helpful in expediting the booking process
for most guests.
*Julie will try to review these REQUESTS in advance and let you know of any POLICY Issues
that would cause rejection of your reservation.
This will give you a chance to come up with an alternative before the SEPTEMBER 14 & SEPTEMBER 15
reservation opening dateS*.

*REMEMBER! This Online REQUEST IS NOT a Confirmed Reservation!!!!!! THIS IS ONLY A REQUEST!
and is not a confirmed reservation until you have spoken to Julie or Emily or receive an Email confirming
your booking on or after September 14.
2) In Advance--please View Rates: (2019 rates are the same as 2018--Peak & Off-Peak dates may change by a day or two)

3) USUALLY, Reservations that include both Friday & Saturday will require a 3rd night(Sunday or Thursday).
4) Once bookings have begun, Reservation requests that leave a single night opening between already booked stays
will likely NOT be accepted. (single night stays are hard to book and given our limited season,
we cannot afford to have unrentable nights during the peak of it).

5) After making your request--check your email frequently.
If possible, we will communicate this way first instead of by phone.
6) On September 14 & September 15, PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO "LIVE" PHONE CALLS but you can
leave a message if the line is busy. NOTE: the number to call is (970)731-9906.
We'll call back or email ASAP, but in some cases, that may not be until the next day or so.
Keep trying to get through if you're able.
Remember, it is always recommended to have a second choice of dates and cabins, if possible.
7) CREDIT CARD payment* for deposit is PREFERRED for all reservations EXCEPT larger groups.
(Hint: When making your reservation request, please provide the credit card that you will use
to make your reservation deposit. Changing the card number later is possible but complicated.)
*Be assured that your card will not be charged until you have given express permission for us to do so.
*You MUST enter card information online to have this option.
CREDIT CARDS CANNOT BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE for reservations more than 30 days prior to arrival.

8) PET POLICY will be the same as in 2018.
Limit 2 dogs per Cabin. $10 per pet per stay.
